Ingredients:

• 1 small ripe banana
• About 140g blackberries/blueberries/raspberries or strawberries (or use a mix), plus extra to serve
• Apple juice or mineral water, optional
• Runny honey, to serve

Instructions:

1. Slice the banana into your blender or food processor. Add your chosen berries.

2. Blend until completely smooth.

3. With the blender still running, slowly add apple juice or mineral water until you reach your preferred consistency.

4. Pour into a glass, top with extra berries, and drizzle with runny honey.

5. Serve straight away and enjoy!

Healthy Swaps & Tips:

• Add Greek yogurt or protein powder for a more filling smoothie
• Use frozen berries for a thicker, colder texture
• Swap honey for agave or skip for lower sugar
• Add a handful of spinach for a nutrient boost (you won’t taste it!)

Storage & Meal Prep:

• Best served fresh
• Can be stored in the fridge for up to 12 hours (stir before drinking)
• Prep the fruit the night before and freeze for an ultra-convenient blend-and-go breakfast

Ideal For:

• Kids and adults alike
• Anyone needing a quick and healthy breakfast
• Post-workout fuel seekers
• Smoothie lovers who want variety
